Job summary

GoGuardian is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack to design and implement scalable architectural solutions for our New Products Team. You will craft frontend React interfaces and backend Node/Go services that support thousands of schools and educators, while collaborating across teams to deliver high-impact features.

You will work on APIs (gRPC/REST), data analytics workloads, and AI-enabled capabilities, with a culture of high-quality, well-tested code and strong engineering practices

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience leading large-scale features.
• Strong Node/Go production-grade services experience.
• React with TypeScript including dashboards.
• APIs (gRPC, REST) and microservices handling high throughput.
• PostgreSQL with complex queries and analytics workloads.
• Redis caching and multi-tier caching architectures.
• Cloud services (AWS).
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
• Modern React tooling and component libraries.
• Proven track record of performant, scalable features.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Proactive in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated to impact education landscape.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continually improve new products.
• Develop high-performance backend services in Node/Go.
• Build intuitive frontend experiences with React and TS.
• Design and implement gRPC and REST APIs.
• Optimize SQL schemas for large-scale analytics.
• Build and maintain background workers for data processing.
• Integrate with AI services for intelligent features.
• Write well-tested, maintainable code with docs.
• Contribute to IaC with Terraform for AWS.
• Mentor and coach developers; participate in architecture reviews.
