Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Application Designer and Developer to define user requirements and build UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You will create software components and APIs that interact with upstream and downstream systems to meet business needs.

You will collaborate with clients, design intuitive interfaces, and write clean code within an agile framework. Regular travel may be required to engage with stakeholders and deliver scalable software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4‑year degree).
• Typically, no less than 2–4 years relevant experience.
• 3‑5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test‑Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance.

• Writing clean, maintainable code and creating specifications that support business objectives.
