Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Application Designer and Developer to identify user requirements and build UI components across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You will create software components that integrate with upstream and downstream systems to meet business needs.

You will lead design and development of user interfaces, write clean code, and create specifications aligned with business objectives. Occasional client travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year).
• Typically, 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• 3–5+ years of Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design robust APIs and microservices (Java, Python, FastAPI, OpenAPI).
• Integrate authentication via Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure AD.
• Experience with data visualization tools (D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts).
• Experience with dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker) and TDD.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical design and architecture.
• Develop prototypes and demos quickly.
• Function within an agile delivery process.
• Design APIs and extensibility models for platform use cases.
• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements.
• Travel may be required to meet with clients.
