Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer to bridge business needs with technical execution in a distributed, cross-functional environment. You’ll shape architectures for enterprise integrations, work closely with India-based teams, and deliver AI/LLM-powered solutions with secure, observable backends.

You’ll own API design, backend/frontend delivery, and collaboration with stakeholders across IT, Sales, Finance, and HR.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on, relevant experience as a full-stack engineer with recent delivery work.
• Strong command of TypeScript/JavaScript and a modern frontend framework such as React.
• Backend development experience with Node.js or Python and API/integration design.
• Experience delivering AI/LLM-powered solutions including tool calling, RAG, or agents.
• Experience translating stakeholder discussions into architecture and actionable backlog.
• Proven AWS delivery experience (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Experience with enterprise authentication methods such as SSO/Okta and RBAC.
• Ability to lead technical discussions in English with US-based stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with product owners and stakeholders to align working hours for real-time collaboration.
• Convert use cases into architecture, UX/flow, API contracts and a developable backlog for India-based team.
• Design and integrate workflows connecting Salesforce, ServiceNow, Jira, Glean, Oracle HCM.
• Own complex integration challenges including authentication, RBAC, error handling and production cutover.
• Collaborate daily with the India-based pod to clarify requirements and review PRs.
• Build prototypes for UI, agent flow, or MCP/LLM paths and transition to production backlog.
• Ensure security, observability and reusability so each agent is a durable asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate closely with product owners and stakeholders across IT, Sales, Finance, and HR, aligning working hours to support real-time collaboration
• Convert loosely defined internal use cases into clear architecture, UX/flow design, API contracts, and a development-ready backlog for the India-based team
• Design and integrate agentic workflows connecting enterprise systems such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Jira, Glean, and Oracle HCM
• Take ownership of complex integration challenges, including authentication, MCP tool access, data contracts, RBAC configuration, error handling, and production cutover
• Collaborate daily with the India-based pod, clarifying requirements, reviewing pull requests, resolving integration blockers, and safeguarding release quality
• Build prototypes as needed, covering UI, agent flow, or MCP/LLM paths, then transition a production-ready backlog to the India team
• Factor in security, observability, and reusability throughout the build process so each agent becomes a durable asset rather than a one-off demo

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on, relevant experience as a full-stack engineer, with recent, active delivery work
• Strong command of TypeScript/JavaScript paired with a modern frontend framework such as React or similar
• Solid backend development experience using Node.js or Python, along with strong API and integration design skills
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI/LLM-powered solutions, covering tool calling, RAG, agents, MCP, prompt workflows, or comparable production work
• Background translating stakeholder workshop discussions into concrete architecture and an actionable, buildable backlog
• Practical AWS delivery experience, including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, IAM, and CloudWatch, along with enterprise authentication methods such as SSO/Okta and RBAC
• Confident communicator able to lead technical discussions in English with US-based stakeholders, with working fluency at B2 level or higher, translating business requirements into agentic architectures

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MCP gateways, LLM gateways, model routing, policy/audit mechanisms, and usage/cost control systems
• Experience with OpenTelemetry or similar observability tools for tracking agent traces, tool calls, latency, and failure points
• Background working with platforms such as Salesforce, Gong, Clari, Glean, ServiceNow, Oracle HCM, Concur, or similar HR/IT systems
• Experience hardening internal platforms or prototypes into enterprise-ready, production-grade services
