Job summary

The American Heart Association in Dallas, TX is seeking a Sr Digital Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications and integration software supporting our digital fundraising assets.

You will gather requirements, test, and remediate defects across the development lifecycle, leveraging React, Ionic React, Nest.js and Typescript; familiarity with .NET and Web API is a plus. We offer Heart U training and strong work-life support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant software development experience.
• Experience with React, Ionic React, Nest.js and Typescript.
• Experience with ticketing systems and debugging web apps.
• Experience with VSTS/Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Customer service minded with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web apps using React, Ionic React, Nest.js, and Typescript.
• Develop software artifacts from requirements and architecture.
• Test software in unit and integration cycles; support UAT and defect remediation.
• Handle tickets and defects; triage and communicate status to customers.
• Support clarification and refinement of business requirements.
• Provide estimations based on requirements and specs.
• Provide coordination, production, and project support.
