Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr Digital Developer in Dallas to design, develop, and modify web applications supporting digital fundraising assets. You’ll gather requirements, test, and remediate defects throughout development and delivery.

Responsibilities include building with React, Ionic React, Nest.js and Typescript, ensuring alignment with architecture and development standards while handling tickets and providing accurate estimations and project support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with React, Ionic React, Nest.js and Typescript.
• Experience with ticketing systems; debugging web applications.
• Experience with VSTS/Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Customer service minded with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web applications using React, Ionic React, Nest.js and Typescript ( familiarity with .NET and Web API is a plus).
• Develop software artifacts based on requirements and architecture.
• Test software in unit and integrated testing cycles; support UAT and remediation of defects.
• Handle incoming tickets and defects; triage, escalate and communicate status to customers.
• Support clarification and refinement of business requirements.
• Provide estimations based on requirements and functional specs.
• Provide coordination, production and project support.
