Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to serve as a hands-on technical lead for the Wisconsin Medicaid Market. The role covers front-end, back-end, data, integrations, and hosting with autonomy to drive platform direction and reduce technical debt.

You will mentor engineers, promote CI/CD, security-as-code, observability, and cloud-native patterns while collaborating across enterprise teams to align with standards and reduce complexity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS or related field.
• 5+ years designing, developing, and testing software and/or infra.
• 2-5 years with Microsoft stack (.NET, SQL Server, Windows services).
• Experience building cloud-based solutions, preference for Azure.
• Passionate about improving consumer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on design and delivery across Wisconsin Medicaid Market platforms.
• Work across multiple core administration platforms and services.
• Identify and address technical debt to improve scalability and reliability.
• Support modernization with automation and repeatability.
• Align decisions with enterprise standards with IT leadership and platform teams.
• Ensure security, compliance, and HIPAA in delivery pipelines.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and AI-assisted development usage.
• Balance hands-on delivery with technical leadership as priorities evolve.
