Job summary

SoftPathTechnologies seeks an onshore L2 Lead for Enterprise Applications to guide architecture and delivery across globally distributed teams. You will drive technical direction, ensure code quality, and coordinate with stakeholders in multiple regions.

You will mentor engineers, lead sprint activities, and balance innovation with reliability in a fast-paced environment. A strong background in enterprise systems and DevOps is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of programming experience or 4+ years with a PhD.
• Track record of setting technical direction for a team and cross-functional partnerships.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale platform development, integrations, and on-call support.
• Experience building maintainable, testable code bases and API design.
• Experience improving quality through code reviews, testing, rollout, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client stakeholders to define technical architecture for scalable, secure delivery across globally distributed teams.
• Lead code reviews, ensure coding standards, and promote best practices in a distributed model.
• Drive decisions on frameworks and technologies balancing business priorities and rollout realities.
• Escalate and resolve complex technical issues across regions and teams.
• Lead sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and maintain sprint board hygiene.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster cross-region collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Facilitate clear communication between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Support DevOps/CI-CD and ensure reliable deployments across distributed teams.
