Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/engineering
• 8+ years programming or 4+ years with PhD
• Track record of setting technical direction for a team
• Experience with enterprise-scale platform development and on-call production support
• Experience designing maintainable, testable code and APIs

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate technical architecture for scalable, secure delivery across distributed teams
• Lead code reviews and enforce coding standards
• Drive decisions on frameworks and technologies balancing business needs
• Coordinate complex problem solving across regions and teams
• Lead diff review within the team
• Monitor delivery metrics and drive continuous improvement
• Lead sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives across time zones
• Maintain sprint board hygiene and backlog readiness
• Ensure clear documentation and stakeholder communication
• Estimate timelines with global stakeholders and manage risks
• Mentor junior/mid engineers and foster collaboration across regions
• Bridge stakeholders and engineering teams with clear progress and feedback
• Drive knowledge sharing and cross-training
• Contribute hands-on coding for critical features and prototypes
• Support DevOps and CI/CD to enable reliable deployments across teams
