Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 8 years of professional software engineering with lead, staff, or principal-level progression.
• Strong full-stack skills including .NET (C#), React, Next.js, and REST/GraphQL API design.
• Ability to architect and deliver production-grade apps with reliability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of full-stack apps using .NET, React/Next.js, and Azure from architecture to production support.
• Set engineering standards for code quality, testing, performance, and security; lead code reviews.
• Make architectural decisions for scalable, observable systems with maintainable solutions.
• Integrate AI/GenAI features (LLM, RAG, semantic search) into Firm apps.
• Mentor engineers through pairing, reviews, and ongoing feedback.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and architects to translate requirements into technical plans.
• Own production reliability: observability, incident response, root-cause analysis.
• Apply security best practices across the stack, protecting sensitive legal data.
• Partner with DevOps on CI/CD, container platforms (AKS, Azure Container Apps), and cloud deployment patterns.
• Stay current on technologies and bring well-reasoned recommendations to the team.
• Participate in hiring, including technical interviews and onboarding new engineers.
