Job summary

The Governor's Office of Information Technology in Colorado seeks a Full Stack Principal Developer to lead technical design, application build and release processes, while ensuring accessibility and security across digital products. Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a software developer in progressively more complex assignments with experience managing requirements for software application development and service delivery.
• Experience applying digital accessibility regulations and standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) to business processes, content, tools, and/or documents.

Responsibilities

• Design applications aligned with OIT strategies (Cloud First, Mobile First, Secure Colorado) and plan for future scalability.
• Lead SDLC activities and ensure accessibility and security across digital products.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, engineers and stakeholders to implement requirements and standards.
• Coordinate releases and provide governance across application lifecycle.
• Identify improvements to development policies and SOPs to enhance delivery quality.
