Job summary

State of Colorado’s Governor's Office of Information Technology seeks a Senior Delivery Engineer (Technical Lead) to drive a unified, modern resident experience. You will lead architectural efforts, partner with agencies, and shape technical strategy and governance across multiple programs.

You will own integration strategies, oversee POCs, and guide delivery from concept to handoff, balancing security, cost, and performance in a dynamic government environment.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience as a technical lead delivering technology products.
• Experience working across design, engineering, policy, or operations to ship usable solutions.
• Strong ability to translate stakeholder needs into actionable technical plans.

Responsibilities

• Define and align technical architecture with enterprise standards.
• Develop forward-looking roadmaps including modularization and API strategies.
• Assess vendor proposals and technology options for enterprise impact.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across multiple agencies.
• Communicate decisions and tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
