Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Software Development Test Engineer to join our Arlington, VA hybrid team. You will design, implement, and execute manual and automated tests across frontend, backend, and data layers for a large-scale public-facing web platform serving enterprise clients.

You will collaborate with developers, product managers, UX/UI designers, and security specialists to ensure reliability, performance, accessibility, and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software quality assurance and testing.
• Experience with modern web technologies (Python/Django and JavaScript frameworks).
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, pytest).
• Experience testing full stack web applications (frontend, backend, DB).
• Experience with CI/CD and SecDevOps pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies (manual & automated) across full stack.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks; integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA / Section 508) and security requirements.
• Track defects, maintain test docs, and report quality metrics.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers throughout the agile lifecycle.
