Job summary

Allthenticate, based in Houston, TX, seeks an Elite Software Engineer (Quality Assurance) to own testing across a Rust core, FastAPI backend, Vue 3 web app, and desktop/mobile integrations. You’ll write features across the stack and build robust test infrastructure, enabling fast, reliable releases.

You’ll design CI-friendly test environments, tackle flaky tests, review cross-language code, and contribute to a security-focused product used to simplify complex authentication workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience building automated test infrastructure.
• Fluency with Python; comfortable with a typed systems language (Rust a plus).
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end test infrastructure with Playwright, Selenium, and Docker that runs in CI and locally.
• Ship features across the stack including FastAPI services, Rust code, Vue 3 interfaces, and Dart for mobile.
• Build test harnesses for hardware-backed authentication flows (Bluetooth, cryptographic key handling).
• Containerize test environments to spin up full system for testing.
• Hunt flaky tests and root-cause failures; review code to raise engineering bar.
