Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks a Software Development Test Engineer to ensure quality, reliability, and security of a large-scale public-facing web platform. You will work within an agile team, collaborating with developers, product stakeholders, and UX/UI designers to deliver accessible, secure, and high-quality solutions.

The role emphasizes both manual and automated testing across the full stack, with a focus on federal standards, cloud deployments, and containerized apps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience testing enterprise-scale web applications (Python/Django and JavaScript).
• 5+ years developing and maintaining automated test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, pytest).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools (Jira, TestRail).
• Experience with accessibility testing to WCAG 2.1 AA / Section 508 and federal security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test strategies across full stack (UI, APIs, databases).
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as quality advocate throughout the lifecycle.
• Document defects, report testing progress, and improve test coverage and metrics.
