Plenful is hiring a senior software engineer to build and operate platform services and APIs powering healthcare workflows. You’ll work across backend and frontend, with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React, shaping data models and integrations with attention to security and reliability.

The role requires ownership from design through launch, collaborating with product, design, and other engineers in a remote-first, hybrid environment with optional office presence in SF and NYC.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering delivering production applications.
• Strong experience with Python, FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.
• Backend design, API design, data modeling, and production services.
• Frontend features and accessible product experiences.
• Own projects from design through launch and communicate tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate platform services and APIs powering healthcare workflows.
• Implement end-to-end features across backend and frontend.
• Model data and integrate systems with focus on security and maintainability.
• Improve reliability, observability, performance, and developer workflows.
