Job summary

Ellipsis Health is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale our AI-powered healthcare platform. You’ll work across TypeScript-based backend services and React/Redux frontend applications, owning features end-to-end in a hybrid SF environment.

Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver secure, reliable healthcare software that complies with HIPAA, FHIR, and related standards. Remote-friendly within the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack experience with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with React and Redux for frontend development.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL; distributed systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end features across backend and frontend.
• Architect scalable APIs and microservices using TypeScript.
• Build and evolve React/Redux UI for performance and usability.
• Own services in production, including deployment, monitoring, and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Ensure HIPAA/FHIR compliance and secure data handling.
