Job summary

Photon is seeking a Full Stack Lead in Dallas, TX (also listed for Chicago and Tempe) with a Bachelor's in computer science and 10–15 years of Full Stack experience. The role focuses on designing RESTful APIs, cloud-native AWS solutions, and AI/ML/RAG applications while maintaining strong ownership of end-to-end delivery.

The candidate will drive architecture, mentoring, and hands-on development across frontend and backend components, with broad responsibilities from design to production

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Cloud experience with AWS including serverless and ECS/EKS.
• Experience with Generative AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts and tools.
• Demonstrated ownership of projects from design to production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full-stack development from design through production deployment.
• Architect, build, troubleshoot and enhance production-grade applications end-to-end.
• Own the technical direction and decision-making for the stack across frontend, backend and cloud.
