Job summary

Amentum is seeking skilled software engineers in Augusta, GA to join an agile, DevOps team focused on geolocation data processing at scale. The role involves analyzing existing capabilities, designing new solutions, and developing backend services and interfaces within a CI/CD pipeline.

Candidates should have a strong Python background, front-end experience with JavaScript/HTML, and familiarity with NoSQL, REST, Active MQ, and Jira/Confluence. TS/SCI with poly clearance is required.

Qualifications

• TS//SCI with poly clearance required.
• Bachelor’s or higher in CS or related field.
• 7 years of SWE experience in similar programs.
• Experience with agile DevOps and geolocation data processing.
• Experience developing back-end services in Python.
• Experience building web UIs using JavaScript/HTML.
• Familiar with JIRA/Confluence for requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work with a high-performing software team in an agile, DevOps environment.
• Analyze capabilities to develop enhancements, primarily in Python.
• Develop back-end services and multiple interfaces for data processing at scale.
• Perform development, testing, validation, deployment, and Tier 3 support.
• Design and implement software that integrates with core services and baselines.
• Apply agile practices to test and document codebase.
