Job summary

CCI is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join the BEAGLE ASF Team supporting CBP in Northern Virginia. You will design and implement web-based software with Java Spring Boot and Angular, contributing across the software lifecycle in an agile environment.

You will work with PostgreSQL databases, RESTful services, and microservices, while mentoring teammates and delivering in short sprints. Onsite 1–2 days per week in Ashburn, VA with a strong emphasis on security and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
• 7+ years of software design, development, and implementation experience.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to pass CBP background investigation.
• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL, Java Spring Boot, Angular, microservices, and AWS.
• Proficiency with Angular (TypeScript, Angular Material, state management) and RESTful services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software and database capabilities for legacy and modern systems.
• Collaborate in a product team to ensure on-time, quality delivery.
• Lead and mentor junior team members and participate in sprint activities.
• Contribute to release planning, testing, and documentation of guidelines.
