Job summary

B&A is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a contract with a federal government client in Ashburn, Virginia, to support modernization and maintenance of DHS/CBP systems. The role focuses on designing cloud-based apps using Angular 14 and Spring Boot microservices, with legacy WebSphere/JEE experience.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in CS or related field and at least 3 years of hands-on Java/Spring/Angular experience, plus Unix/Linux proficiency and familiarity with Jira/Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, IT, or related field; applicable experience may substitute for the degree.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on development with Java, Spring Boot, JPA, and Angular 14+.
• Excellent knowledge of cloud-based architectures and modern UI backends.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement modernized cloud-based apps using Angular 14 and Spring Boot microservices.
• Support legacy JEE applications on WebSphere.
• Collaborate with users in Agile ceremonies to elicit requirements and feedback.
• Document designs following the Government's lifecycle methodology.
