Job summary

J&T Business Consulting in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java/Angular Software Engineer (Level 3) to design, develop, and enhance complex enterprise systems in a classified environment.

You will lead full-stack development using Angular/RxJS on the frontend and Java/Spring Boot on the backend, drive architecture, ensure performance and security, and mentor multiple teams across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 12+ years of software engineering on similar scope, or 16 years without a degree.
• Hands-on Angular and RxJS front-end development.
• Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security expertise.
• Kafka, JMS, Oracle, and Elasticsearch experience.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Maven/Gradle, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven technical leadership across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop full-stack apps with Angular+RxJS and Java/Spring Boot back-end.
• Lead cross-functional teams, set coding standards, and ensure code quality.
• Design and optimize data interfaces and indexing with Oracle/Elasticsearch.
• Containerize apps and manage deployments with Docker/Kubernetes in GitLab CI/CD.
• Collaborate with systems engineers to define software requirements and boundaries.
• Create and review technical design docs and system architecture specs.
