Job summary

J T in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java/Angular Software Engineer (Level 3) to lead design and development of high-throughput enterprise systems. You will drive front-end in Angular/RxJS and back-end in Java/Spring Boot, guiding cross-functional teams and delivering mission-critical software in a classified environment.

The role requires TS/SCI with Poly, strong architecture skills, and hands-on experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus 12+ years of software engineering on similar programs, or 16 years without a degree.
• Deep front-end experience with Angular and RxJS.
• Back-end expertise with Spring Boot, Java, Spring MVC/Data/Security.
• Experience with Kafka, JMS, Oracle, Elasticsearch.
• DevOps with Docker, Kubernetes, Maven/Gradle and GitLab CI/CD.
• Proven technical leadership across distributed teams and projects.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

• Architect, code, test, and deploy full-stack web apps using Angular/RxJS and Java/Spring Boot.
• Develop back-end integrations with Spring MVC/Data/Security, JMS, Kafka.
• Design and optimize Oracle/Elasticsearch data interfaces and queries.
• Containerize apps and manage deployments with Docker/Kubernetes in CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead multiple software teams, set coding standards, ensure quality control.
• Collaborate with systems/hardware engineers to derive software requirements.
• Define interfaces and trade-offs for performance and timing.
