Job summary

J&T Business Consulting in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a senior UI Front-End / Front-End Software Engineer (Level 3) to lead front-end architecture and UI team delivery in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. You will mentor developers, translate UX/UI specs into accessible interfaces, design component-based systems, integrate with back-end APIs, and ensure quality and accessibility compliance.

Qualifications

• Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus 12+ years of software engineering experience on similar scope
• OR 16 years of relevant software engineering experience without a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor front-end engineering teams, providing technical direction, code reviews, and standards.
• Translate design specs into accessible, standards-compliant user interfaces (Section 508, WCAG).
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to design and integrate RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Contribute to full-stack efforts including back-end microservices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, optimize, and query complex database/repository interfaces.
