Job summary

Capital One is seeking Full-stack Software Engineering leaders to mentor talent, drive technical strategy, and oversee large-scale cloud-native systems across Risk Tech. You will lead Agile teams, shape roadmaps, and partner with product and architecture to deliver impactful financial technology for millions of Americans.

The role requires 6+ years in software engineering, cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure), and strong leadership across multiple teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
At least 6 years of software engineering experience.
At least 3 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure or other cloud platforms.
At least 3 years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects with distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
Mentor engineers, drive tech strategy, and contribute to architectural reviews.
Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based customer experiences.
Guide multiple Agile teams and define multi-year technology roadmaps.
