Job summary

LighthouseAI is seeking a seasoned full stack developer in the United States to design, build, and scale backend services with TypeScript and Node.js, while delivering robust React front-ends. You will architect RESTful APIs, manage data models across relational and NoSQL databases, and deploy on AWS.

The role emphasizes strong autonomy, ownership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive features from concept to production while maintaining security and performance standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript; Python experience is a plus.
• Strong front-end skills with React and modern tooling.
• Solid Node.js experience and server-side TypeScript frameworks.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and ORMs.
• Familiarity with API design, OAuth/JWT and security principles.
• Hands-on AWS experience (ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, IAM).
• Experience with Jest or Vitest for testing.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using TS/Node.
• Build responsive front-end apps using React.
• Architect and optimize RESTful APIs for client-server use.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases; design data models.
• Deploy applications in AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, IAM).
• Contribute to system design and architecture decisions.
• Perform unit and integration testing; ensure code quality.
• Leverage AI development tools to improve productivity and quality.
• Write clean, testable code with documentation.
• Collaborate across teams from concept to production release.
• Ensure security, performance, reliability, and scalability.
