Linus Health Inc. in Boston is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer I to drive design, development, and delivery of complex software systems. You will combine front-end expertise with back-end API design and mentor other engineers.

The role emphasizes performance, observability, and secure, scalable solutions. You will collaborate with product, design, data science, and security teams, champion AI-assisted development, and contribute to long-term technical direction.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience with React and Node.
3+ years building RESTful services including database design in Node.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows.
Proficiency in frontend performance optimization (bundle splitting, lazy loading, caching).
Strong communication skills to document decisions and present tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

Build full stack applications upon RESTful services with scalable, observable solutions.
Lead by example with hands-on coding, code reviews, and feature design.
Advance AI-assisted usage with practical applications for AI-assisted code generation.
Uphold best practices for testing, CI/CD, code quality, and observability.
Collaborate across teams (Product, Design, Data Science, Security) to translate requirements.
Mentor and coach engineers to foster growth and technical excellence.
