Job summary

Knight Federal Solutions is hiring a full stack software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software across the full technology stack. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, product owners, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable software solutions in an Agile setting.

The role requires 8+ years in software engineering, strong Python/Java skills, and experience with RESTful APIs, React/Angular, SQL, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

8+ years in software engineering including development, testing, integration, or maintenance
5+ years developing applications with Python, Java, or another OO language
4+ years developing web apps with frontend technologies (React/Angular)
Experience developing or integrating backend services and RESTful APIs
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL
Experience with automated build, test, or CI/CD processes
Experience in Agile development environments (Scrum or Kanban)
Experience using Jira
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

Develop end-to-end software solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment
Develop, integrate, test, and maintain software capabilities across the stack
Participate in design discussions, troubleshoot issues, review code, and improve quality
