Job summary

VTG seeks an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to modernize legacy applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS. You will design RESTful APIs, build modern web UIs with React, Angular, or Vue, and contribute to scalable, reliable software across the stack.

You will work in an Agile environment, mentor junior developers, write unit and automated tests, perform peer reviews, and ensure code quality. Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and Red Hat Linux is

Qualifications

• BS degree and 6–11 years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing Java/Spring Boot applications in the cloud (AWS).
• Experience building web UIs with React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and modern ETL methods.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL databases.
• Experience unit testing, code reviews, and Selenium automation.
• Proficient with Git, Jenkins, Jira; Linux command line in Red Hat environments.
• Strong communication and ability to mentor junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Modernize legacy applications via full-stack design and development.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with Java/Spring Boot.
• Create web interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.
