FanDuel in New York is hiring a senior full-stack software engineer to lead design, development, and delivery of high-scale applications. You will define the frontend architecture and extend backend services, mentoring others and shaping technical direction.

You will work across stack with modern frameworks, build resilient, secure systems, and collaborate with product teams to drive key initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and shipping production software.
• Deep expertise in modern web frontend architecture with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and React.
• Mobile development with React Native and native (Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android) readiness.
• Strong HTML5, CSS3, responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Frontend performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
• Test-first mindset with frontend testing (Jest, RTL).
• Backend services in Java and Spring Boot to extend APIs.

Responsibilities

• Define and shape the long-term architectural vision for core full stack and microservices platforms.
• Lead cross-team technical initiatives to extend engineering standards.
• Mentor engineers, set technical direction, and raise standards across the team.
• Architect scalable, resilient frontend and backend systems for high-traffic apps.
• Partner with product and business stakeholders to clarify requirements early in the lifecycle.
• Develop high-performance front-end interfaces and GraphQL APIs.
