Job summary

Geolava is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer to build and scale spatial intelligence products. You will work across frontend, backend, and product thinking, delivering features end-to-end while solving real user problems with thoughtful tradeoffs.

You will own end-to-end development, collaborate with researchers and engineers, and help define engineering standards as Geolava grows. This role offers autonomy and significant impact in a fast-moving startup with a competitive compensation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience writing maintainable, production-quality code.
• Full-stack fluency across frontend (TS/React/Next.js) and backend (Python/Node.js/PGSQL).
• Strong product sense and ability to trade off design decisions for user experience.
• Shipper mindset with high agency and ownership.
• Quality mindset with attention to edge cases, loading states, and responsive design.
• Experience in startup environments with rapid iteration and scale.
• Clear communication of technical trade-offs to frontend and backend partners.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable fullstack systems for enterprise and government customers.
• Work across the stack from APIs to data models and UI connections.
• Own end-to-end feature development from design to deployment, monitoring and iteration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine scope and ensure reliable delivery.
• Partner with researchers and engineers to incorporate reliability, evaluation, and guardrails.
• Own ambiguous problems and drive them to practical, high-quality solutions.
