Job summary

Knak Digital seeks a remote full stack engineer to advance its geospatial intelligence platform for telecom network analytics. The platform, built on Java, React, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, is evolving into an AI-first system with interactive analytics and richer reporting at national scale.

You will contribute across the stack, design APIs and data models, and improve routing and geospatial algorithms while delivering production-ready code with tests and observability on a globally distributed, remote

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack engineering on data-intensive platforms
• Advanced JavaScript/TypeScript with React experience
• Backend in Java/Node.js/Python and API design

Responsibilities

• Build features across front end, backend services, and geospatial data stores for automated network design and national-scale data exploration
• Improve algorithms for fiber network planning, including geospatial analysis, routing, clustering, and cost modeling
• Refactor architecture to separate core domain logic from IO and orchestration for reuse across workflows
• Prototype AI-assisted analysis and agentic workflows for interrogating network designs and financial outcomes
• Build reporting outputs combining maps, charts, tables, and narratives into shareable analyses
• Take work from proof of concept through production with tests, observability, and performance tuning
