Job summary

Culmen International, LLC is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design, develop, and field secure software for USPACOM J32 targeting and mission-planning workflows. You will build user-facing and backend services, integrate with government systems, and ensure auditability and security across the full SDLC in classified environments.

The role requires collaboration with operators and SMEs, delivering incrementally with demonstrations and reviews, while maintaining robust security and access

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Experience with front-end frameworks, backend services, RESTful APIs, and automated testing.
• Experience building workflow, mission-planning, decision-support, and C2 apps.
• Ability to translate complex operational processes into usable software.
• Experience with data provenance, audit logging, and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and field secure, mission-ready software for USPACOM J32 targeting and mission-planning workflows.
• Develop operator-facing applications for Target-Effect Pairing (TEP) with recommendations and explanations.
• Build backend services for workflow orchestration, review/adjudication, and draft force-assignment support.
• Translate SME input into intuitive workflows supporting Phase 3 Capabilities Analysis and Phase 4 decisions.
• Implement human-machine teaming controls preserving human authority over governmental decisions.
