Job summary

Culmen International, LLC seeks a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to support secure, mission-ready software for USPACOM J32 targeting and mission-planning workflows. The role requires onsite presence at Camp H.M.

Smith in Honolulu, with full SDLC responsibility in classified environments. You will design, develop, integrate, and field secure applications, build user-facing and backend services, and collaborate with operators and SMEs to translate complex operational processes into intuitive software

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks, backend services, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, databases, and automated testing.
• Experience building workflow, mission-planning, decision-support, or C2 applications.
• Ability to translate complex operational processes into usable software.
• Experience with data provenance, audit logging, and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and field secure, mission-ready software for USPACOM J32 targeting and mission-planning workflows.
• Develop operator-facing applications for Target-Effect Pairing and ranked recommendations.
• Build backend services for workflow orchestration and adjudication.
• Translate SME inputs into intuitive workflows for phase-based decision making.
• Implement RBAC/ABAC and secure data handling in classified environments.
• Create auditable software recording data sources, versions, and actions.
• Partner with operators, SMEs, and government system owners.
• Produce maintainable code, API docs, and release notes.
