Job summary

OP RaaS is seeking a senior software engineer to lead design, development and implementation of large scale projects, ensuring best practices in architecture, performance and security. You will code, test, deploy across the software life cycle, mentor junior team members and collaborate with product stakeholders.

Qualifications

• The Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or directly related work experience
• Five (5) years’ work experience in information technology or engineering. A related advanced degree may offset some of the related work experience requirements
• Expert-level knowledge of front-end and back-end frameworks
• Deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong programming skills
• Proven computer/coding skills in multiple languages
• Analytical, problem solving, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Good presentation skills and ability to handle multiple projects
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with professionals from a range of technical and non-technical backgrounds

Responsibilities

• Designs software code using multiple programming languages.
• Architect and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance software.
• Tests newly developed software code.
• Documents code per the Company’s processes.
• Communicates effectively with colleagues, managers, vendors, user focus groups and comments, and other stakeholders.
• Lead code reviews and enforce coding standards and is compatible with all hardware and software.
• Guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools.
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
