Horizon3 is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build product experiences that help customers understand, prioritize, and act on risk in their environments. You will own significant work end-to-end, spanning backend and frontend, with a strong emphasis on scalable APIs, data modeling, and secure software practices.

The role combines ~80% backend with ~20% frontend work, requires independent initiative, and fosters collaboration with Product, Design, and peer engineers to deliver outstanding

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building backend services in Python, Go, Java or TypeScript.
• Experience frontend with React or Angular.
• Experience with SQL databases in production.
• Experience cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Docker.

Responsabilidades

• Build and ship production software across backend and frontend.
• Own moderate-to-large projects end-to-end with design, implementation, rollout.
• Create user-facing experiences that are clear and performant.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and other engineers on cross-functional initiatives.
• Identify risks, blockers, and mis-scoped work early.
• Communicate tradeoffs clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to architecture discussions with focus on maintainability.
• Write high-quality code, tests, and docs; perform code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers through reviews and onboarding.
• Drive engineering quality and product experience with ownership.
