Job summary

Topstep is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to develop trader-facing web experiences, account flows, payments, and internal tooling. You will own features from design through production, emphasizing reliability and scalable systems.

Collaborate with Product and Design to shape scope, write designs, and guide architecture. You will build robust deployments with observability and on-call readiness, while contributing to a camera-on, remote/hybrid culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production-grade systems with user-facing APIs and full stack TypeScript/React.
• Strong distributed systems, database, and event-driven architecture experience.
• Excellent communication and a bias toward action with on-call participation.

Responsibilities

• Build full stack features for trader-facing web experiences, account flows, payments, and internal tools.
• Own work end to end from design to production with a focus on reliability and scalable systems.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to shape scope and technical trade-offs.
• Design, build, and operate full stack features with reliable deployments and production support.
• Write technical designs and guide architecture decisions with your Engineering Manager and peers.
• Build automated testing, observability, and operational ownership into every delivery stage.
