Job summary
hims-and-hers is seeking a senior software engineer to lead hands-on development of patient-facing web experiences and backend services for a digital health platform. This senior role spans frontend interfaces, backend services, external integrations, reliability, and performance, with a strong focus on delivering accurate, dependable experiences.
You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate with product, design, operations, data, and engineering teams to deliver
Qualifications
- 5+ years building production web products.
- Strong full-stack skills with React/Next.js and Node/TypeScript.
- Experience delivering scalable applications in a modern cloud environment.
- Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable full-stack solutions meeting product needs and improving UX.
- Build, operate, and monitor web apps, backend services, and external integrations.
- Collaborate with product, design, operations, data, and engineering to deliver features.
- Guide technical decisions and break initiatives into executable work.
- Participate in discovery, prototypes, reviews, and documentation.
