Job summary

Aequilibrium is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (Remote) based in Canada to join our technology team and support a large-scale digital initiative. You will work across frontend and backend to deliver cloud-native applications, REST APIs, and scalable services.

You will collaborate with an Agile delivery team, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, implement automated tests, and ensure high-quality software while working Pacific Time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong experience as a Full Stack Developer with hands-on frontend and backend work.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and modern frontend development (React).
• Backend experience with Python or similar server-side tech; design/integration of REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance frontend applications and backend services.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and database-driven services.
• Build and maintain cloud-native application components.
• Contribute to event-driven services and background processing workloads.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests and maintain high software quality.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Troubleshoot issues and provide deployment/production support as needed.
• Collaborate with developers, product stakeholders, and Agile delivery teams.
