Job summary

Teaching Strategies, LLC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to advance the family billing and back-office workflows for childcare management. You will work primarily on Python backend services and the related web interfaces, delivering high-quality, scalable features.

You will partner with product and design teams, apply AI-assisted development practices, and help evolve patterns for reliable, secure software in a mature production system.

Qualifications

• 5-15+ years of professional software engineering experience with senior-level contributions.
• Strong Python backend development experience, including API design and data validation.
• Experience building web applications with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with billing, payments, invoicing, or high-integrity business systems preferred.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain full stack product capabilities for family billing and back-office workflows.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and business logic in Python, following existing patterns.
• Improve web application experiences using the frontend stack with attention to usability and accessibility.
• Make decisions about technical debt, refactoring, and tradeoffs in billing systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and other engineers throughout delivery lifecycle.
