Job summary

BBG Ventures, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to help build and support our child care platform. This remote role includes in-person onboarding, with the starting level based on experience. You will work on billing and invoicing features, integrate with Stripe, and apply Claude Code in daily development.

You’ll contribute across the stack and help drive revenue growth in a fast-moving, remote team. The candidate should have 5+ years of software development experience, strong Python

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Python or a similar language.
• Experience with billing and payment systems.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools.
• Comfortable with navigating the command line.
• Able to pick up new technologies quickly.
• Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Comfortable working with an all-remote team.

Responsibilities

• Build new features for billing and invoicing systems with complex data flows across services.
• Support transactions and subscriptions using the Stripe API.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools as part of day-to-day workflow.
• Develop and improve tools/dashboards to manage customer data and configurations.
• Work across the stack from server to client; write tests and docs.
