Job summary

Life Line Screening is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build modern cloud-native apps using React/TypeScript on the frontend and Node.js/GraphQL on the backend. The role focuses on event-driven architectures, AI-assisted engineering, and secure, scalable services running serverless on AWS.

You will own features end-to-end, partner with product and design, and contribute to CI/CD, observability, and architectural decisions in a fast-moving, AI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building and shipping production web applications.
• Strong experience with React and modern frontend development practices, TypeScript-first.
• Strong backend experience with Node.js and event-based service design.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating services in AWS environments.
• Familiarity with event-driven and event-sourced system design.
• Demonstrated experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Git-based workflows and collaborative development.
• Practical, day-to-day experience using AI coding assistants in production.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across the full stack.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver end-to-end product features from discovery and design through production support.
• Build high-quality, accessible UIs using React and TypeScript.
• Design and implement backend services and APIs using Node.js and GraphQL.
• Develop and operate cloud-native, serverless workloads on AWS.
• Contribute to event-driven, service-oriented architectures that scale safely.
• Commit clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Share architecture decisions and maintain lightweight design records.
• Work agent-first with coding agents and translate intent into specifications.
• Engineer context and maintain artifacts used by agents and teams.
