Aurora is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Aurora Services to help scale autonomous driving tech. You will own major full-stack components, shape APIs and data pipelines, and ensure production-ready systems for large-scale fleet operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration across operations, autonomy, and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on quality, performance, and reliability.

Competenze

BS/MS/PhD in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years in software development with ownership of deliverables in large-scale full-stack systems.
Experience designing REST/gRPC APIs and microservices.
Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into technical plans and execute independently.
Strong cross-functional communication with interdisciplinary partners.

Mansioni

Own substantial full-stack components and drive projects from high-level goals to production-ready systems.
Design and evolve APIs, data pipelines, and tooling to support real-time fleet operations.
Balance MVPs with scalable long-term software design and manage dependencies.
Set and improve code quality, tests, performance, and documentation through reviews.
Act as SME for core components and align with operations, autonomy, and cloud teams.
Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements to reliability and performance.
Advocate for new technologies and onboard peers to shared infrastructure.
