Qualifications
- BS/MS/PhD in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years in software development with full-stack systems ownership.
- Experience designing REST/gRPC APIs and microservices.
- Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into actionable technical plans.
- Strong cross-functional communication with interdisciplinary partners.
Responsibilities
- Own substantial full-stack components and drive projects from goals to production.
- Design and evolve APIs and data pipelines for real-time fleet operations.
- Balance MVPs with scalable long-term software design and estimate work.
- Establish team practices for code quality, testing, and performance.
- Be SME for core components and collaborate with ops, autonomy, and cloud teams.
- Identify bottlenecks and improve code quality, performance, and reliability.
- Advocate for new technologies and onboard peers.
