Job summary

Swiftly, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build scalable cloud-based services across backend and frontend. You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver end-to-end experiences for transit customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing robust systems, prototyping to de-risk projects, and mentoring teammates through code reviews and collaboration. Strong knowledge of Java, Python, or Node.js and Vue.js is valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience building real-time data processing systems.
• Comfort applying modern AI tools to accelerate development and improve quality.
• Experience building and consuming APIs; proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and services (AWS preferred).
• Strong product mindset: pragmatic use of technology to solve customer problems.
