Job summary

Evlo AI is seeking a senior full-stack software engineer in New York to own end-to-end feature delivery across frontend and backend services. You will build React-based user interfaces, design TypeScript/Node.js and Python backends, and ship native and cross-platform mobile features from a single codebase.

You will work on a small, senior team shipping weekly to production, shaping architecture, and partnering with designers and PMs to define what gets built.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of full-stack software engineering experience building and maintaining production web applications.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, with deep experience in React and modern state management.
• Solid backend experience in Node.js or Python, including API design and relational DB modeling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain user-facing features in React/TypeScript with focus on performance and accessibility.
• Design and implement REST and GraphQL APIs in Node.js and Python with PostgreSQL/Redis.
• Contribute to mobile product using React Native including offline behavior and app store release cycles.
• Own features from design to deployment including tests, migrations, and rollout plans.
• Improve system reliability and observability using Datadog, logging, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Mentor mid-level engineers as the team grows and participate in architecture discussions.
