Job summary

Haus Analytics, Inc. is hiring a full‑stack engineer focused on backend Python services and React frontend work for Architect, a product turning model outputs into actionable recommendations. You will collaborate with product, science, and design to define features and ship end-to-end solutions.

The role emphasizes deploying reliable services in production, with strong emphasis on testing, observability, and clear communication across teams. Office presence in SF is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production web applications and APIs.
• Strong Python backend; day-to-day work is service and integration.
• React proficiency to build frontend for your features.
• Ambiguous, product-facing role with scoped plans from partial requests.
• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
• Comfort with cloud-native environments (GCP preferred).
• Track record using AI development tools and evaluating outputs.
• Excellent communication across scientists, PMs and engineers.
• Must be willing to come into the office 3–5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship backend services in Python turning model outputs into recommendations.
• Build React screens to review, edit, and approve recommendations.
• Define API contracts and handle failure modes across teams.
• Collaborate with product, science, and design on what to build.
• Improve code quality with tests, monitoring, and refactors.
• Leverage AI coding tools and explain verification methods.
