Job summary

7Th Sky Tech is seeking a Python Developer with React experience for a full-time hybrid role in Palo Alto, CA. You will build scalable backend services with Python and develop modern UIs using React, collaborating with product managers, designers, QA, and other developers.

The candidate will design, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications, implement REST APIs, and ensure secure, scalable data storage with PostgreSQL/MySQL. Strong teamwork and Agile participation are expected.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong experience with React.js.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
• Understanding of OOP and software design principles.
• Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Python and React.
• Develop robust backend services, APIs, and business logic using Python.
• Build responsive frontend components using React.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs between frontend and backend.
• Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB databases.
• Implement authentication, authorization, security, and data validation.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers for user-friendly interfaces.
• Use Git-based workflows and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
