Linktree is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Earn squad, building monetization features across subscriptions, tips, digital products, checkout and payouts. You will own end-to-end money movement, ensuring correctness and reliability in a high-stakes environment.

You'll collaborate with product, design and finance to deliver measurable revenue features, integrate payment partners, and apply AI to improve surfaces. This role is based in Los Angeles or San Francisco with hybrid work.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production full-stack features.
• Strong full-stack skills across TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL or MySQL, GraphQL, AWS.
• Hands-on payments, billing, subscriptions or similar domain with idempotency, retries, reconciliation and partial failure in production.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and SDKs with auth, rate limits, webhook ordering, and provider outages.
• Comfortable with a large, established codebase and AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship full-stack features across the Earn surface, from payment services to checkout and related experiences.
• Own the correctness of money movement end-to-end: idempotent charge handling, entitlement state, reconciliation with providers, and payouts.
• Integrate and maintain payment and commerce partners, including auth, webhooks, versioning and graceful degradation.
• Instrument and use data to drive improvements in conversion, churn and failed-payment recovery.
• Collaborate with product, design, finance and partnerships to ship revenue opportunities and surface constraints early.
• Mentor teammates, write clear decisions and elevate code quality.
