Job summary

Linktree in the United States (Los Angeles or San Francisco) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Earn squad to build how creators monetize on Linktree—subscriptions, tips, digital products and payouts. You’ll work across the full stack, designing and shipping services, APIs and product surfaces behind monetization flows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production full-stack features.
• Solid full-stack skills across TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL or MySQL, GraphQL, AWS.
• Hands-on experience with payments, billing, subscriptions or another domain where correctness is non‑negotiable.
• Experience integrating third‑party APIs and SDKs, including auth, webhooks and outages.
• Comfortable working in a large, established codebase and with AI-assisted development.
• Based in Los Angeles or San Francisco with a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship full-stack features across the Earn surface, from the payment services through to checkout experiences.
• Own end-to-end money movement correctness: idempotent handling, entitlement state, reconciliation and payouts.
• Integrate and maintain our payment and commerce partners, including auth, webhooks, versioning and graceful degradation.
• Instrument what you ship and use data to drive improvements in conversion, churn and failed payments.
• Partner with product, design, finance and partnerships to turn revenue opportunities into shipped features.
• Bring AI into how you build and surface it in the product.
• Raise the standard through clear writing, reviews and mentoring to improve the codebase.
